Don't wait for a Leader - BE the leader!

Students who attend 5 out of 7 SVCC Student Activities events will receive a certificate of engagement for successful completion of the series and have the chance to win a $250 bookstore giftcard. 

By participating in the following events, students will understand the basic concepts and principles of leadership, cultural competencies, and social responsibility to develop personal values, discover personal strengths, and begin to take an active role in positively influencing the SVCC community and beyond.

2/12 & 2/19: Student Leadership Workshops with Jason LeVasseur

2/17: Election Day is Every Day: The Campaign for Your Future Starts Now! with Lonnie Scott

2/24: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with Marcus Gentry 

3/3: “A Shot of Reality”

3/24: “Your Voice, Your Choice” with April Hernandez Castillo

4/7: Diversity and Leadership Presentation by Dr. Joshua Fredenburg

All students are welcome to events. Only students who register at https://forms.gle/DQvtTEpmDDneWWWDA will receive a certificate at the completion of the Leadership Series. Please register by February 16.
